Need To Hire New Security Guards? Here's What To Ask

About Me
Stock Investment 101: An Introduction

As a young teen, I was always confused by the stock market reports, performance, and volatility. In high school, we were required to study it and do a mock investment in a real stock to see what happened along the way. The ups and downs never made a lot of sense to me back then, but when I decided I wanted to invest for real, I started studying trends and triggers. I created this site to help others explore business investment through stock market purchases. I hope that the information here empowers you to take on your first stock market investment and watch it grow.

Need To Hire New Security Guards? Here's What To Ask

Are you getting ready to hire some new security guards to protect your property? Here is what you should ask the company you are considering working with.

What Kinds of Service Options Are Available?

Do not just assume that you have to pay for your security guard services hourly or weekly. Depending on the number of security guards you need at any given time, you may be able to purchase a service contract that includes a certain number of service hours within a given month or year that is paid monthly or yearly.

You will not have to worry about keeping track of hours or having to bookkeep the services as time goes on. Just pay your flat fee once a month or once a year and enjoy the daily services that you are paying for as time goes on. You will not have to estimate how much you will be paying for security services in the coming month because you can rely on the flat fee that is associated with your service contract.

How Is Reporting Managed?

It is also a good idea to find out how reporting will be managed so you know what to expect when it comes to learning about instances that happen on your premises. Whether it is an attempted theft, a broken-down vehicle, someone asking suspicious questions, or nothing at all, you should have a clear understanding of what your security guards experience on a daily basis.

Will you be emailed a report at the end of each day, or will incident reports be sent to you in real-time? Does the security company provide access to an intranet database that allows you to organize, search through, print, and generally manage all your reports as they become available? The answers to these questions will help you understand how you should plan to manage your reports and the incidents that happen on your property.

Can Services Be Scaled as Necessary?

As of now, you probably know how many security guards you need and what hours you need security services for throughout the week. But what if your circumstances change unexpectedly in the future? You need to know right now whether you can scale your security services up or down at any point in the future if it becomes necessary. If you cannot, you may end up being stuck paying for services you no longer need or have a lack of access to additional services you suddenly find yourself in need of.

Use these questions to help you find security guard services for your property.
